Metaview raises $60m as “agentic recruiting” becomes a funded category

Metaview · 2026-10-04

Metaview, a London-founded recruiting AI firm, raised a $60 million Series C led by Insight Partners, with GV, Intrepid Growth Partners, Seedcamp, Vertex Ventures US, Plural and Garuda Ventures participating — taking its total funding to $110 million. The company says more than 7,000 organisations now hire with its platform, which has grown from recording interviews into agents that source candidates, review applications and run structured screening conversations. The round will fund new agents, a New York office and growth from 80 to 250 staff, the company said.
A week after Spott’s $21m Series A, this confirms agentic recruiting — software that sources, screens and schedules on its own — has moved from demo to funded category. The practical question for a TA leader is no longer whether autonomous tools work, but governance: which decisions stay human, what the agents may touch, and how you validate their output. Metaview’s own framing — “talent engineering” as a discipline recruiters must learn, not just software they buy — is the sharper signal: the differentiator is shifting from the tool to the team that runs it.

All action is situated in your corporate context. These are starting points, not prescriptions — choose what fits.

Who to talk with in your enterprise

Your head of recruiting operations — assess whether your team has the skills Metaview calls talent engineering, or whether agentic tooling is about to land on a team still running manual pipelines. Your talent analytics lead — plan how you’ll evaluate agent-sourced candidates against your own funnel metrics, not vendor benchmarks.

What to take a closer look at

Audit how your ATS and sourcing stack would absorb agentic features: do your data and integrations support a tool that reads every resume, books every screen and logs every decision? If source-of-hire and funnel data isn’t clean, an autonomous agent scales your mess rather than your hiring.

Reflect

What to think about more deeply

If an agent can source, screen and schedule a hire in 30 days, what exactly is left for the recruiter to be excellent at?
