JobGet Acquires RippleMatch — The Sixth Sign of Hiring Tech Consolidation

TecHR Series · 2026-06-06

JobGet, an AI-powered hiring platform for the hourly workforce, announced the acquisition of RippleMatch, an early-career recruiting platform serving students and emerging talent across the US. The deal, announced May 29, 2026, is JobGet's sixth acquisition and marks a continuing consolidation trend in the fragmented hiring technology market.

The acquisition combines JobGet's 100-million-plus candidate network with RippleMatch's early-career marketplace, matching technology, employer relationships, and campus recruiting capabilities. Tony Liu, CEO of JobGet, said the strategy is to bring together the best assets in hiring and connect them to a broader platform. RippleMatch CEO Audrey Patenaude said the combination will "give candidates access to a broader range of opportunities, and provide employers with a more powerful recruiting solution."

RippleMatch's platform includes AI-driven candidate matching, automated resume screening, interview scheduling, and virtual event management — capabilities that plug into JobGet's existing AI hiring engine. The Job Board Doctor noted this brings the industry consolidation scorecard to at least six significant acquisitions in the space this year, alongside ongoing consolidation moves by Indeed and other players.

If you're a TA leader, the question isn't whether your tech stack will change in the next 12 months — it's which vendors will survive and which will get acquired. The JobGet-RippleMatch deal is the sixth acquisition in a rapidly consolidating market. Every time a platform you use gets acquired, you face the risk of feature deprecation, price changes, and migration friction.

For TA leaders with significant reliance on any mid-market hiring platform, this trend demands active vendor management. The days of picking a 'best-of-breed' solution for each hiring need are ending. The market is converging around a few large platforms that will own the full candidate funnel from sourcing to onboarding.
